Greeks burn the bill

October 1, 2011 § Leave a comment

Greeks choose to burn the bill, rather than pay up new taxes. Austerity measure in Greece are said to amount to 20% of the GDP. Which, if this were the US, would amount to $3 trillion per year. The recent debt deal wrangled by our politicians barely managed $3 trillion over 10 years. Yikes.
